The OPTIKA SLX-5 is a mid-range trinocular stereozoom microscope designed for users who need more working space, stability and flexibility than an entry-level stereomicroscope, while keeping a practical and balanced configuration.
Its Greenough optical system and parfocal achromatic zoom from 7x to 45x make it suitable for observing minerals, fossils, rock fragments, sediments, small technical parts, educational samples and simple material analysis. The 100 mm working distance provides useful clearance for handling samples during inspection.
The simple overhanging stand is one of its main advantages. It allows observation of larger specimens and offers smooth horizontal and vertical movements, while the rotating head makes it easier to inspect objects from different angles.
The trinocular head, with a fixed 50/50 split between eyepiece and photo output, is useful for combining direct observation with image documentation using compatible camera systems. As a mid-range solution, it is well suited for schools, universities, teaching laboratories, geological workspaces, technical departments and advanced users who need a versatile microscope for routine observation.
