Introducing the CEBRU (No. 3032) — a compact and versatile geological and topographic compass for precise field measurements. Work using the Prof. Dr. Clar method (dual-circle), the conventional strike and dip mode, or the Brunton method for topographic readings. All in a robust, pocket-sized format made in Germany.
It features innovations like a hinge clinometer visible from above, an adjustable level-controlled clinometer inside the housing, and an integrated diopter for observing the needle and clinometer during sighting. In addition, the CEBRU comes with a carrying case to protect it during your fieldwork.
For increased topographic accuracy, a non-magnetic tripod, ball joint tripod head, tripod adapter, and additional open finder sight are available.
Vertical circle (hinge clinometer) visible from above: read dip azimuth and dip angle at a glance.
Automatic needle arrest when not in use.
Inside the housing: adjustable level-controlled clinometer.
Mirror and integrated diopter for observing needle and clinometer simultaneously.
Built-in circular spirit level.
High-quality, waterproof, light metal housing.
Adjustable inclination for optimal working position.
Magnetic declination adjustment ±60°.
Includes carrying case.
