Officially recognized by Brunton, this service provides professional repair and maintenance for their field compasses. We work with original Brunton parts and specific procedures to extend the life of your instrument and maintain its measurement accuracy.

The final price of each repair depends on the actual work needed: time spent, accessories and parts replaced, materials used, and shipping costs. Because every compass arrives in a different condition, a prior quote is always required. Please request a quote by emailing us at info@geologia365.com.

To prepare an initial estimate, in your email we will need a clear description of the problem and several photographs of the compass (inside, outside and close-ups of the damaged area). With this information, we will provide a first quote. If, during the repair, hidden defects or additional damage are found, we will send you an updated quote adapted to the real nature of the repair and will only continue after your approval.

We can replace, among other components:

• Lenses and mirrors

• Rubber parts, buttons and covers

• Needles and indicators

• Bubble levels

• Dials

• Graduated circles and external stickers

• Internal mechanisms

• Moving parts and hinges

We service all Brunton Transit, GeoTransit and Axis compasses, and we also replace or adjust dials on TruArc models.

We additionally offer needle rebalancing in case of imbalance or when the compass is moved to a different magnetic zone/country, ensuring proper performance in the new location.

If a repair requires specific factory machinery or is not feasible in our workshop, we can propose sending the compass to Brunton’s headquarters in the USA for advanced service.

Spare parts are also available for separate purchase if you prefer to attempt your own repair. However, any self-performed repair voids the warranty provided by our technical service on that intervention.
